Master Data Governance Analyst

Position OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and governance-driven Master Data Governance Analyst to support the creation, maintenance, and integrity of product and finished goods data across multiple systems. This role is critical to ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and compliance across integrated enterprise platforms.The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in Master Data Management (MDM) with a strong focus on product and finished goods data governance, combined with a proactive mindset to challenge inconsistencies and uphold data quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesManage product master data creation and maintenance, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistencySupport finished goods setup and lifecycle management within ERP systemsEnforce data governance policies, standards, and procedures across systems and business processesValidate data accuracy across multiple integrated systems, ensuring proper data flow and alignmentIdentify, question, and resolve data inconsistencies by applying governance logic and business rulesCollaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., business users, IT, data stewards) to ensure proper data usage and adherence to standardsSupport data quality initiatives, including cleansing, validation, and continuous improvement effortsContribute to documentation, governance processes, and standard operating procedures related to master dataRequired QualificationsMaster Data Expertise (Top Priority)3+ years of hands-on experience in Master Data Management, with a focus on:Product master dataFinished goods data managementData creation, maintenance, and governanceStrong understanding of the master data lifecycle, including creation, validation, and ongoing maintenanceGovernance MindsetDemonstrated ability to challenge inaccurate or incomplete requestsStrong understanding of data governance principles, compliance, and business rulesAbility to interpret and apply the “why” behind data standards rather than simply executing transactionsERP System ExperienceExperience working within ERP systems, ideally:Oracle (preferred)SAP (acceptable alternative)Familiarity with how product and master data flows across enterprise systemsAttention to Detail & ExecutionHighly detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy and integrityProcess-driven with strong organizational skillsComfortable owning and maintaining high-quality data standardsPreferred QualificationsExperience in pharmaceutical or highly regulated industries, including:Controlled product environmentsRegulatory compliance and governance frameworksExposure to serialization-related data (preferred)Experience working with consumer products or product-based organizationsExposure to data validation, integration, or cross-system reconciliation processesKey Traits for SuccessStrong analytical and problem-solving mindsetAbility to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholdersProactive, accountable, and comfortable operating in a data ownership roleContinuous improvement mindset with a focus on data quality and governanceCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITSHourly contract rate range of $40.00 to $48.00 based on experience and qualifications, as well as geographical market and business considerations.Your well-being is important to Wimmer Solutions.
