Restaurant Server/$14 starting (days); $15-16 nights

Job TitleSets up side station and performs assigned side workProvides immediate attention to all members/guests upon seatingDistributes menusIf local water conservation laws permit, fills glasses with ice water; answers questions and suggests menu itemsTakes members'/guests' ordersPlaces orders with kitchen; informs cooks about any special cooking instructionsAssembles food on tray; procures items from each station as necessaryServes meal; places dishes by courses in front of each personChecks back to ensure member/guest satisfaction; replenishes water and butter as necessaryRemoves soiled dishesSuggests and serves dessert, coffee, and after dinner drinksVerifies accuracy of checksPresents the bill, make sure the check is signed properlyKeeps tables, dining room and bus station areas cleanAdvises supervisor of any complaints as soon as they occurPerforms clean-up and closing duties as assigned by managerAttends pre-meal meetings as requested by the Captain/ManagerAble to sit, stand, twist, bend, push, pull, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis for periods of up to 10 hours a day.Able to work effectively in a kitchen environment with occasional extremes in temperature (heat, cold, humidity) for an extended period of time.
