SQL Application Developer

Our fantastic client is a high transaction ecommerce company. They are adding several SQL Application developers to their dynamic team. These roles will work within a team to design, support, and optimize SQL solutions in a high transaction environment. Thee roles will be centered around optimizing and designing, not reporting.Qualified candidates must have Ecommerce and OLTP environment experience to be considered.Proof of eligibility for direct hire requiredWhat you will be doing:Work with developers and project management in a highly transactional OLTP environment to build new and support existing SQL code, structures, and dataEvaluate and performance tune existing procedures and dataAnalyze business needs and software requirements to help determine feasibility of work within time and resource constraintsProject life cycle involvement – planning, estimates, documentation, development, testing and deploymentWhat you bring to the table:3-4 years of recent experience with MS SQL Server 2016+, preferably in an e-commerce environmentExperience with designing SQL Structures and procedures to support highly transactional applications.Experience fine-tuning SQL functions and stored procedures called hundreds or thousands of times per minute.Deep understanding of database design principlesExperience with Data modelingCreating tables for relational data, views, stored procedures, and indexes.
