Senior Staff Accountant

M2 Search Partners has an outstanding opportunity for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Staff Accountant. Our client is experiencing tremendous growth, and this role will work closely with the Controller to support day-to-day accounting operations, maintain financial accuracy, assist with month-end close activities, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.Primary Responsibilities:Review, verify, and process vendor invoices and expense reportsMatch purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documents for accuracyEnter invoices and payment information into the accounting systemPrepare and process check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfersMaintain vendor records and respond to vendor inquiries in a professional mannerReconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepanciesEnsure compliance with company policies and accounting proceduresMaintain organized and accurate accounts payable files and recordsSupport audit requests by providing required documentationAssist with other accounting and administrative duties as assignedPrepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger activityLead and support month-end and year-end close processesReconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accountsSupport internal and external audit requests and documentationEnsure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and regulatory requirementsAssist with process improvements and implementation of accounting controlsCollaborate cross-functionally accounts receivable, inside sales and operations teamsRequired Minimum Experience and Education:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field4-7 years of progressive accounting experienceStrong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principlesProficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systemsExcellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to meet deadlines and manage multiple prioritiesEffective written and verbal communication skillsBenefits:Competitive salary based on experience.Opportunities for professional growth and advancement.Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and retirement plans.If you are a driven accounting professional looking to advance your career and make a significant impact within an organization, we encourage you to apply.
