Job Title: Process EngineerJob DescriptionThe Process Engineer will join one of two dynamic teams: Process Development or Defects & Productivity. Currently, there is a focus on the Process Development team. The role involves running experiments and providing regular reports and presentations. This position supports the development of advanced dry etch processes, aiding in customer tool-of-record selections through process development, optimization, and DOE-driven tuning to meet specifications and performance targets. The equipment is projected to enter production in 3-5 years if selected.ResponsibilitiesConduct experiments for customer projects and provide detailed reports and presentations regularly.Support the development of advanced dry etch processes to achieve customer tool-of-record selections.Execute process development, optimization, and DOE-driven tuning to meet customer specifications, performance targets, and device integration requirements.Collaborate with Process Technicians and Analytical Team members on the process development cycle.Work on advanced process nodes (2nm, 14A, 10A, and beyond) in FEOL and BEOL dry etch modules.Essential Skills10+ years of experience in dry etch/plasma etch processes in semiconductor (experience with Applied Materials, TEL, Lam preferred).5-15 years of experience as a Process Engineer in semiconductor manufacturing.Proficiency in process improvement, manufacturing engineering, tooling, thin film, experimental processes, and statistical process control (SPC).Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience from SCREEN, ASML, Kokusai would be comparable (wet etch experience acceptable with more years).Experience in deposition, lithography, and working within a clean room environment.Work EnvironmentThe Process Engineer will work at the office, closely collaborating with a team in a clean room lab facility, though daily work will not be primarily in the clean room. The environment is characterized by a strong team dynamic, with a stable, tight-knit division and high retention of Process Engineers.
