Implement messaging and branding aligned with the vision set forth by the Founder, Board of Directors, Executive Directors, and Communications Manager.Essential FunctionsHelp facilitate external and internal communication for Mercury OneAssist with fundraising campaigns for Mercury One, The American Journey Experience, and The Nazarene Fund through copywriting and campaign creationAssist with website development and contentAssist with email blasts and external communication to donorsAssist with communication to donors, partners, followers, and media through email, talking points, website, and additional communication contentAssist with brand managementDesign flyers, graphics, and event material to promote all three organizationsAssist development team, social media team, and M1 team in launching fundraising campaignsDrive messaging and communications to donors, including Newsletters, about all three organization's work and fundraising activitiesCollaborate with all Departments on communication needsCoordinate with Development and Finance Departments with campaign communications and set-upsCreate registration pages for Mercury One, AJE, and TNF eventsBooth and represent all three organizations at partner events, conferences, museum experiences, ect.Speak on and about all three organizations at external and internal eventsWilling to work outside regular office hours when necessaryWilling to travel with Mercury One, The American Journey Experience, and The Nazarene FundSupervisory Responsibilities if applicableNoneTravel required if applicablePeriodicallyRequired Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree or at minimum 3 years of communication/public relations experienceAttention to details and accuracyExcellent problem solving, customer service, verbal, oral, written presentation skillsExcellent with flexibility, adaptability, and multitasking.Design skills in Canva and InDesignProfessional and excellent writing skillsBasic website editing experienceBasic media relations experienceA self-motivator, team player, eager to grow and learnAbility to operate effectively in a fast-paced and changing environmentFlexibility to accommodate evolving goalsEEO StatementMO is committed to equal opportunity in employment and, as such, it recruits, hires, transfers, trains, promotes, pays and retains its employees solely based on qualifications and performance within the boundaries of the stated mission of MO as a Judeo-Christian Biblical organization.
