The organization has a long-standing history of making a positive impact in the Philadelphia area.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site IPS Counselor role located in Philadelphia, PA. The IPS Counselor will provide individual placement and support (IPS) services to help individuals achieve their employment goals. Responsibilities include conducting client assessments, developing employment plans, providing job coaching, and maintaining documentation. In collaboration with other team members, the counselor will also build relationships with local employers, advocate for clients, and monitor progress to ensure success.QualificationsStrong interpersonal, counseling, and communication skills to effectively support and guide clients.Knowledge of employment services, job coaching, and career development techniques.Ability to build relationships with employers and community partnerships for successful employment placements.Organizational skills and the ability to maintain detailed and accurate client records.Experience and passion for working in community development or social services, with a focus on empowering individuals.Master's degree in psychology, Social Work, Vocational Rehabilitation, or a related field is preferred.Commitment to addressing the needs of diverse populations in an equitable and respectful manner.Familiarity with the Philadelphia area and local resources is a plus.
