Job Description
Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A school-based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available in Montgomery, TX, supporting one elementary campus within a public school district. This full-time contract role involves providing direct therapy services, completing evaluations, and participating in ARD meetings. The position follows a four-day workweek (32 hours) and offers a caseload of approximately 60-80 students. This is an onsite role requiring an active SLP license.Key Responsibilities:Deliver speech therapy services to elementary-aged students under SLP supervisionConduct evaluations and assist with assessments related to speech and language developmentParticipate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings to collaborate with educators and familiesMaintain accurate documentation and progress notes for each studentManage a caseload efficiently while adhering to school schedules and protocolsQualifications:Current and valid Speech-Language Pathology licenseExperience working as an SLPA in a school setting preferredStrong organizational skills and ability to manage a caseload of 60-80 studentsFamiliarity with elementary-aged student communication disordersAbility to work collaboratively with school staff, families, and therapistsOnsite availability in Montgomery, TX throughout the contract durationDetails:Location: Montgomery, TX (onsite)Contract term: Immediate start through May 22, 2026Weekly hours: 4 days per week, 32 hours totalCaseload: 60-80 students at one elementary campusThis opportunity is ideal for an SLPA seeking a school-based role offering consistent hours and a supportive environment.
