Children's Coding Instructor (After-School)

https://athenacoding.com/ Athena Coding is a premier after-school education company looking for an instructor to teach kids Coding and Game Design classes! Our classes are 1 hour a day, once a week for seven weeks for students in grades K-6. Kids will explore coding and game design fundamentals using Scratch, Python, and JavaScript. All materials and lesson plans will be provided to support your teaching. We also offer a number of other after-school STEM opportunities in the area. Responsibilities: Manage a classroom of 10-25 children while making sure they're safe, secure, and having a ton of fun. Teach coding concepts to kids using the provided curriculum in a fun, exploratory way. We're looking for someone with: An upbeat, empathetic, and energetic character.
