CNC Machinist - 2nd Shift

Shift: 3PM - 12:30AM Position Overview:This position is responsible for setup and operating CNC production machines to manufacture parts to meet customer orders. Experience preferred. We offer a competitive shift differential for applicable schedules, along with overtime opportunities based on business needs.Job Duties:Maintain production equipment to meet customer orders.Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, material specifications, drawings, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting dimensions and tolerances.Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufactures instructions; troubleshooting malfunction.Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.Maintain production and quality records.Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.Skills and Knowledge:Basic mathBlueprint readingBasic knowledge of G and M codes.Utilize various measuring gages.Attention to detail and communication skills, oral and written.Education and Experience:High School diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum 2 years experience as a CNC machine operatorFull compensation packages are based on candidate experience and certifications.Local Pay Range
