Whether a client is bringing that brand to a new location, to a tradeshow, to a fleet of vehicles, or to showrooms around the world - FastSigns can consult, design, produce, and install based on your budget and timing.POSITION OVERVIEWThe Project Manager plays a central role in delivering successful signage projects by overseeing all phases from concept through completion. This position ensures projects are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining a strong focus on client satisfaction. Serving as a key point of coordination between sales, design, production, installation, vendors, and subcontractors, the Project Manager ensures seamless execution and clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.In addition to managing schedules, resources, and budgets, the Project Manager provides critical sales and pre-production support, including obtaining pricing, building estimates, and coordinating procurement needs. This role is also responsible for ensuring compliance with zoning, permitting, and regulatory requirements, upholding company and industry standards, and proactively identifying and resolving challenges to keep projects moving forward efficiently and successfully.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESProject Planning & ExecutionOversee all phases of signage projects, from initial concept to final installation, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standardsAssess project requirements, allocate resources effectively, and manage schedules to maximize efficiencyMaintain comprehensive knowledge of signage types, materials, and fabrication methodsPrepare, update, and maintain quotes, proofs, and documentation with accuracy and attention to detailComplete zoning checks, secure permits, and ensure compliance with local regulationsTeam CoordinationLead project kickoff meetings with design, production, and installation teams to align goals and expectationsMonitor progress throughout each stage, addressing issues promptly and keeping all stakeholders informedCoordinate with external vendors and subcontractors for fabrication, delivery, and installation needsSchedule and oversee installations, ensuring work is completed efficiently, safely, and to specificationFacilitate pre-installation meetings as needed to review scope, site readiness, and next stepsClient CommunicationProvide proactive updates and status reports, addressing client concerns and incorporating feedback into project workflowsServe as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clarity on project scope, timelines, and deliverablesBuild and maintain strong client relationships by ensuring expectations are met or exceeded at every stageQuality Assurance & Problem SolvingVerify that all projects meet regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and company quality standardsEstablish and enforce quality control measures to ensure accuracy in design, fabrication, and installationPartner with receiving staff to confirm vendor materials arrive complete and undamagedConduct site visits to confirm readiness and resolve potential challenges before installationAnticipate risks and obstacles, collaborating with team members to develop proactive solutionsLead brainstorming and troubleshooting sessions to adapt plans and address unexpected issuesDrive continuous improvement initiatives across project management, receiving, and procurement functionsQUALIFICATIONSStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate issues and implement effective solutionsDemonstrated teamwork orientation with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external partnersExcellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and customer-focused demeanorMechanical aptitude and solid mathematical skills to support technical aspects of signage projectsHighly organized with strong time management skillsPositive, proactive attitude with excellent attention to detailStrong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work effectively with diverse personalities and teamsStrong negotiation and vendor management skillsEDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / OTHER REQUIREMENTSHigh school diploma or equivalent, requiredAssociate or bachelor's degree, preferred3-5 years of project management experience, or equivalent, preferably in the signage or printing industryMust have valid driver's licensePI129c950e6d3f-31181-40079085
