Overview In this contract role, you will manage and support a distributed lab network setup, collaborating with the team to enable design, testing, and validation activities. You will work on Cisco/Juniper-based infrastructure, network security, and lab readiness for PoPs and deployments. The role emphasizes hands-on configuration, compliance with security standards, and coordination with design reviews and system integration efforts. ResponsibilitiesSet up and maintain a distributed lab network for design and testingConfigure and manage Cisco/Juniper routing and switching, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VoIP, wireless LAN/WAN, QoS, STP, VTP, VLANsImplement network security (IPSec tunnels) and STIG-based lockdownsSupport design reviews, system integration activities, and verification and validation tests (DVT)Assist fabrication, testing/integration, and installation of Network Points of PresenceEnsure compliance with security and industrial/military drawing standards as required Key requirementsExperience with Cisco or Juniper routers and switchesKnowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VoIP, WLAN/WAN, Multicast, QoS, STP, VTP, VLANsSecurity concepts including IPSec, STIGsExperience with routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP) and gateway redundancy (HSRP/VRRP/GLRP)Understanding of product drawings for equipment specification, fabrication, assembly, wiring, inspection, installationAbility to apply military/industrial design and drawing standardsteam collaborationattention to detaileffective communicationCisco or Juniper networkingTCP/IPDHCP
