Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Maintenance Mechanic at our facility in Portland, CT. The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for performing equipment maintenance, conducting preventive maintenance to ensure the optimal functioning of machines, and addressing any corrective maintenance needs. Additional responsibilities include inspecting, troubleshooting, and performing timely repairs on industrial equipment to minimize downtime and maintain compliance with safety standards.QualificationsExperience in Equipment Maintenance and Industrial MaintenanceProficiency in Preventive Maintenance and Maintenance & RepairStrong understanding of Corrective Maintenance practicesAbility to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and technical issues, especially with CNC machineryKnowledge of safety regulations and practices in an industrial settingAbility to work independently and collaboratively with a teamHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in mechanics is a plusExperience with aerospace or precision manufacturing equipment is a bonus
