We combine our unique decorating capabilities with the latest aerosol technologies to create packaging that not only meets rigorous industry requirements but, most importantly, satisfies the everyday needs and expectations of consumers worldwide.This is your opportunity to join the Crown Aerosol Division.ResponsibilitiesFollow all plant safety rules and required PPE at all timesEnsure safe operating practicesPerform preventative maintenance on all production equipmentInstall and modify mechanical equipmentFabricate machinery and special components, as requiredRepair manufacturing equipment such as conveyors, pumps, piping, and other mechanical systemsPerform simple to intermediate equipment and pipe installationsComply with all environmental, health, safety, and housekeeping standardsRebuild production equipmentConduct inventory of spare partsAssist with and develop troubleshooting skills for production and facility equipment breakdownsFollow safety precautions and proper preventative and predictive maintenance methods on various types of equipmentMaintain a clean, organized, and debris-free work areaThe above information reflects general job duties and should not be construed as a detailed description of all work requirements; perform other duties as assignedRequirementsMechanical background and/or relevant experience requiredMust be able to operate forklifts, gantry cranes, and aerial liftsThorough understanding of rigging, welding, and fabricationAbility to lift up to fifty (50) pounds and regularly stand, stoop, reach, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, and balanceRequires manual dexterity and fine motor skillsAbility to work an eight (8) hour shiftMust work mandatory overtime when needed to include weekendsMust be able to work the hours of 2:45 pm to 11:00 pmAcceptable attendance record, consisting of no more than a total of 8 attendance points as of the date the posting is removedAcceptable performance record, with no disciplinary actions beyond a Written Warning within the six (6) months preceding the posting removal dateWhat Crown Offers YouStrong engagement and commitment to the safety of our employeesThe opportunity to build a meaningful career Professional and personal development through training and work experiences Join us and become part of a team of professionals who are passionate about sustainable packaging!Working Together Working Together is one of the five pillars that make up our Twentyby30™ program.
