In this role, you will report directly to the MCC Sales Director – Americas. As the MCC Applications and Solutions Manager, you will use your technical business development abilities to develop and implement a sales and market strategy focusing on industries and applications requiring gas-phase filtration solutions.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESOVERVIEWServe as a subject matter expert in molecular (aka- gas-phase) filtrationDefine the strategy to develop, sustain and grow the sales of MCC products and servicesDefine the offerings needed for success in MCC-targeted industries and applications and collaborate with product managers to execute new product launch plans.For applicable industries, work with Camfil's existing infrastructure of Regional and Territory Sales Managers, Camfil branches, representatives and distributors to maximize MCC salesIdentify and implement sales channels for industries that are not addressed with Camfil's existing infrastructure (e.g.- oil and gas, mining, wastewater treatment, biogas)Educate sales teamsCreate and implement solutions for major and key accountsDrive and execute company-defined business plansMARKET DEVELOPMENTWork with Camfil branches, representatives and distributors to set growth expectations, market attack initiatives, review performance, participate in end user presentations, product trials and testing, and contract negotiationsCreate presentations and support materials focused on Camfil competitive advantages and customized to various audiences within the prospect's organization: administration, production management, facilities engineering, energy management, sustainability management, reliability engineering, process engineering, Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S), finance, procurement, etc.Develop a sales plan that ensures attainment of company sales and profitability goalsAttend, exhibit and present at relevant industry trade shows and conferencesPlan promotional activities with marketing department.Stay informed about significant market changes, competitor activities and possible mergers and acquisitions.TRAININGTrain principals and field sales force in sales process, gas-phase filtration theory, company and competitor's products, sales tools and applicationsLead training sessions for end users, contractors, engineers and OEMsTERRITORY DEVELOPMENTMaximize and optimize market shareDevelop, negotiate and manage distributor/rep agreements and partnerships where applicable, both internally and externally, and in compliance with existing contractsImplement alternative sales channels for industries that do not fit existing model (e.g., direct sales bulk media)FINANCIALParticipate in the annual budgeting process including total sales for MCC by product classComplete periodic MCC updates to be submitted to MCC Sales Director – AmericasREQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's Degree required. Major in chemistry or chemical, mechanical or environmental engineering preferredHighly qualified candidates will have 3+ years' experience in gas-phase filtration3+ years' outside sales experienceWillingness to travel 50% domesticallyStrong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirementsProven leadership and ability to drive a teamSuperior consultative sales abilitiesMS Office fluencyEEO STATEMENTWe are an equal employment opportunity employer.
