Location: Massachusetts ScheduleWeekday Shifts: 7:00 AM 4:00 PM Weekday Call: 4:00 PM 7:00 AM Weekend Call: 6:00 AM 7:00 AM Clinical Volume & ResponsibilitiesTrauma Inpatients: Daytime Coverage: 2 attending physicians on service Trauma Activations activations per 24-hour period % blunt trauma Emergency General Surgery (EGS) Coverage Some call shifts include EGS coverage EGS Consults: 0 8 per shift Operative Cases: 0 3 per shift Emergencies only (e.g., perforated viscus) Support StructureAPP Coverage:2 APPs during the day 1 APP overnightResidents: PGY-3 or PGY-4 Interns:2 during the day 1 overnightSystemsEMR: Epic Licensure & RequirementsMA License: Preferred; candidates without MA license will be considered Fellowship: Surgical Critical Care DEA: Required CSR: Required Assignment DetailsLength of Assignment: 3+ months Travel: Paid
