Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.Step into a dynamic contract opportunity for the 2026–2027 academic year, supporting students through your expertise in occupational therapy. You will collaborate closely with educational teams, providing essential therapeutic services to learners across various schools (assignments to be determined before the school year begins). This position begins August 12th, 2026, and runs through June 4th, 2027, with a steady commitment of 37.5 hours weekly.Qualifications and Experience Needed:Active and current Occupational Therapy license in North CarolinaPrevious experience as an Occupational Therapist in a school setting, or a strong interest in pediatric/educational therapyFamiliarity with delivering occupational therapy within IEP frameworks and special education environmentsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills for teamwork with educators, staff, and familiesStrong documentation and time management abilitiesAdaptability and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced academic environmentKey Responsibilities:Provide individualized and group occupational therapy interventions for students K-12, as recommended by their IEPsComplete evaluations and re-evaluations to assess student needs and progressDevelop goals, progress reports, and treatment plans in coordination with school staff and familiesParticipate in IEP meetings and provide expert input for appropriate accommodations/modificationsOffer staff consultation to help integrate therapy strategies into classroom settingsMaintain detailed and timely documentation of services, reports, and communicationsTravel between school locations as assigned within the districtThis contract role is an exciting way to make a meaningful difference throughout the school year.
