This person ensures the warehouse is clean and organized, maintained in accordance with the facility protocols and safety standards. This role may entail working some nights, weekends or holidays.Job ResponsibilitiesDaily receiving logs and rejection logs must be completed in compliance with rigorous receiving processMust sign invoices and check off items being delivered in compliance with rigorous receiving processReceive, store, stock, count, sort, record temperatures and verifies items on invoicesCompletion of deliveries to other locations correctly and in a timely mannerIf delivering product to other locations, must abide by all rules and regulations regarding driving and delivery safetyCompletion of any task requested by leads, supervisors or members of management teamRotation of stock in storage areas following proper safety protocols and guidelinesReports damaged items or other items that do not meet ARAMARK specificationsEnsure return products are picked up and keep manager informed of progressKeep freezers and refrigerators organized and cleanedMoves or transports stock using hand trucks or pallet jacksWorks as part of the team with student and fulltime staff and the management teamAble to follow directions from other employees as instructed by managementWork in an environment that at times can be hot and humid or coldWork in an environment with some exposure to the elementsMaintain a neat and orderly work stationKnow and comply with all company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, emergencies and energyResponsible for sanitation and cleanliness of loading dock, receiving areas as well as location assignments and storage as neededResponsible for removal and proper disposal of wasteAccountable for meeting customer sanitation needs and service expectationsAssist with maintaining a safe working environment and report safety hazards discovered in the location to management immediatelyCompletion of daily cleaning task listReport to work on time and in complete uniformOther duties as assignedMust have good working relationship with service staff, supervisors and managersBe able to demonstrate excellent communicate skills both verbal and writtenAt Aramark, developing new skills and doing what it takes to get the job done make a positive impact for our employees and for our customers. In order to meet our commitments, job duties may change or new ones may be assigned without formal notice.QualificationsMust be over 18 years of age High school education or equivalent is preferred2 years of previous warehouse experience is preferredStrong written and verbal communication skills Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills Basic computer skillsManual dexterity required for operating machinery Able to lift up to 50 lb frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 35 lb Some client locations require a current valid driver’s license. If this is required, an MVR will be run as part of your pre-employment screening process.This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking & standing.
