Cafe Lead (BAM)Job DescriptionThe Café Lead is responsible for ensuring the ongoing success of the café and its operation, including maintaining café conditions and training new baristas.Roles and ResponsibilitiesCraft Joe Muggs Beverages according to our quality standards and ensure standards stay in place.Ensuring daily use of the Cafe Communication Binder.Maintain Visual Merchandising guidelines for all Café related merchandise.Complete the Weekly Inventory Sheet and submit the final document to your District Manager.Based upon inventory findings, complete the café supply order.Assist Managers with the training and development of baristasMotivate Baristas to Increase Limited Time Offer Goals, DC, Auto Renewals, Comp Sales, MFM, and the Level of Customer Service in the Café and Bookstore.Manage the flow of Preventative Maintenance tasks to be completed throughout the week to ensure completion.Successfully promote all Company initiatives when interacting with customers.Provide the highest level of customer service to each customer.Monitor and maintain Cafe conditions according to company standards, providing a clean workplace which includes dusting, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, and assisting in the general maintenance of the building.Perform other duties as assigned.Core CompetenciesCommunicationAction OrientationInterpersonal SkillsTeam Management and DevelopmentQualifications and Education RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentCustomer service experience requiredKnowledgeable about café product and café machines, including, but not limited to blenders, ovens, espresso machines, and cash registers.18 years of age or olderStrong verbal and written communication skillsSuccessful completion of all background screeningsPreferred SkillsStrong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to multi-task.Cash handling skills.Physical and Environmental RequirementsMust be able to stand and walk for extended periods of timeMust be able to use hands/arms to operate a keyboard and telephone for repetitive motion activitiesMust be able to lift or team lift objects up to 50 lbs., with or without assistanceMust be able to communicate using speech, sight, and sound with or without an assistive deviceMust be able to stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, or crouch while performing daily activities of the job
