Reporting RelationshipThe Regional People Partner with report directly to Director, People Partner as a high-level individual contributor. Position SummaryThe Expert Regional People Partner is responsible for aligning business objectives with coworkers and leadership in designated regions and business units. You will formulate partnerships across the People function to deliver value-added service and maintain an effective level of business literacy about the region and business unit's priorities, its culture, and its competition. This position is responsible for providing advice and counsel to coworkers and leaders and will lead People centric program delivery to specified clients, including Performance Management, Pay Planning, Succession Planning, as well as a strong focus on Employee Relations, and Labor Relations. The Regional People Partner will be located in our service centers or other locations, working directly with our coworkers to create the desired work environment. This is a hybrid role with some remote and some in-person at the Oakland General Office. This could scale up or down based on business needs or company requirements. Job ResponsibilitiesThis role requires someone who has a nimble mindset with a strong business acumen and the ability to foster cross-functional relationships across the organization. Including talent management, organizational design, and development.Drive change management initiatives to support organizational transformationDemonstrate technological savviness to leverage people tools and platforms effectivelyFamiliarity with HR technology trends and tools for optimizing people processes Business Acumen:Leverage industry and organizational knowledge to align people's strategies with business goalsUnderstand financial metrics to inform people of decision-making, support organizational sustainability, and drive waste elimination Strategic Partnership:Provide consultative problem-solving to address complex organizational challengesEnsuring people projects are in alignment with the organization's strategic objectives.Identify and mitigate risks associated with people's initiatives Data Judgment:Interpret and analyze people's metrics to inform strategic decisionsCraft compelling data storytelling to communicate insights and recommendations to internal and external stakeholdersApply foundational data analytics to optimize people's processes and outcomesStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret people's metrics and drive data-informed decisions QualificationsMinimum:Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience8 years of HR generalist experienceMust possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel as required within the PG&E service territoryDemonstrated experience working with senior company leaders, including demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and influence leaders at the executive level. Desired:Experience working in a large organization (preferably over 1,000 employees).Experience working in a unionized environmentExperience completing investigationsExperience managing employee performance, conduct, and discipline issuesKnowledge:Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations, especially California labor laws.Familiarity with HR best practices and industry standards. Skills:Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.Applying knowledge of business and the marketplace to advance the organization's goals.Ability to influence and lead behavior changes.Providing direction, delegating, and removing obstacles to get work done CompensationPG&E is providing the full salary/pay range for this position. The actual amount paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity,specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, and geographic location. The range to reasonably expect will be around the minimum and the midpoint. The final decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to the factors above. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E's discretionary incentive compensation programs. Bay Area Min: $122,000Bay Area Mid: $158,000Bay Area Max: $194000
