AssemblerAs an Assembler, you will be responsible for calibrating units and resolving any calibration issues in the final assembly process. Your role is crucial in ensuring the quality and functionality of the final product.ResponsibilitiesPre-calibration and reading special calibrating sheets.Building and calibrating all units from the 100-700 series.Reading blueprints and following procedures.Working from a bill of materials.Understanding all model options and torque wrench charts.Collaborating with Application Engineers on special calibrations.Communicating with Sub-Weld, Sub-Assembly, and Quality Control teams.Maintaining a cooperative working relationship with company employees.Performing all other functions/responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.Essential SkillsProficiency in using calibrators and hand tools.Ability to read BOM and blueprints.Understanding of procedures.Capability to read and interpret blueprints.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Basic math skills including fractions, decimals, and metric system.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School diploma or GED.1 – 3 years of related experience.Mechanical aptitude and experience with mechanical assembly.Ability to work with tape measures, power tools, and hydraulics.Why Work Here?Join a company that values a family-oriented culture where most employees have been part of the team for over a decade. The work schedule is Monday to Thursday, 6:00 am to 3:30 pm, and Friday, 6:00 am to 10:00 am. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet for the entire shift, including bending, twisting, and pulling.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lenexa, KS.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
