AP/AR Supervisor
SAccounts Receivable & Accounts Payable SupervisorLocation: Cincinnati, OH (Downtown) – Fully OnsiteCompensation: $70,000 – $90,000 (DOE)Position OverviewA growing, project-driven organization is seeking a Supervisor of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable to lead daily A/R and A/P operations. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for both execution and oversight of billing, collections, and payables processes in a fast-paced environment.The ideal candidate brings strong ERP experience, a process improvement mindset, and the ability to lead and develop a team while maintaining accuracy and efficiency in financial operations.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Process ImprovementSupervise, coach, and develop A/R and A/P team membersIdentify and implement process improvements and automation initiativesStandardize workflows and maintain clear documentation of proceduresServe as an internal ERP systems resource for finance operationsCollaborate cross-functionally with accounting, operations, and project teamsAccounts Receivable (Hands-On & Oversight)Oversee full project lifecycle billing, including setup, funding, invoicing, and closeoutPrepare and issue complex customer invoices (milestone, T&M, fixed fee, cost-plus)Ensure billing accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with contract termsReview and approve work completed by A/R staffManage cash application, account reconciliations, and aging analysisOversee collections and resolve billing discrepanciesPartner with internal teams to address client billing inquiriesPrepare reporting on billings, aging, and collections performanceAccounts Payable (Supervisory)Oversee processing of vendor invoices, expense reports, and payment cyclesEnsure proper coding, approvals, and adherence to internal controlsManage vendor setup, maintenance, and issue resolutionOversee weekly payment runs (ACH/check) and annual 1099 processingSupport month-end close activities related to A/PQualifications5+ years of progressive experience in A/R, A/P, or accounting operationsPrior supervisory or team lead experience requiredAssociate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)Experience in project-based environments preferredStrong ERP system experience (e.g., Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, or similar)Proven track record of process improvement and automationHigh attention to detail with strong organizational skillsExcellent communication and customer service skillsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel#INAPR2026
