This role is responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing high-quality machinery for the food processing industry and the general public. The ideal candidate has strong welding skills across multiple processes, can accurately read blueprints, works well with others, and is committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.Travel may be required for equipment installation or repair work at customer sites.What We Are Looking ForWe are looking for a motivated and reliable Welder/Fabricator who:Has proficiency in multiple welding processes, including GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, and SMAWReads and interprets blueprints accurately, including welding symbolsDemonstrates strong attention to detail, quality workmanship, and pride in finished workWorks effectively as part of a team and interacts professionally with customersMaintains a strong work ethic, integrity, and a positive attitudeFollows all shop safety policies and promotes a safe work environmentIs willing to learn, grow, and develop skills within the companyCan travel as needed for equipment installation or repair projectsJob ResponsibilitiesPerform various welding applications using GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, and SMAW processesSet up, operate, and adjust welding machines and related fabrication equipmentRead, understand, and accurately apply blueprints and welding symbols to fabrication and assembly workFabricate, assemble, and repair machinery and components according to specificationsWork with a variety of metals including stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum, Alloy 20, and hardened steelsClean and finish welds and materials to meet quality and appearance standardsUse appropriate measuring tools and apply sound mathematical skillsCollaborate effectively with coworkers and installation crewsFollow all shop safety procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE)Maintain a clean and organized work areaDesired Education and ExperienceAssociate Degree in Welding Technology or related field,or equivalent experience-based proficiencyDemonstrated hands-on experience with multiple welding processesExperience reading and interpreting detailed blueprints and welding symbolsKnowledge of metal types, applications, and proper preparation and cleanupPrior experience in fabrication or industrial equipment manufacturing is preferredPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift up to50 lbsAbility to stand for extended periods; frequent kneeling, bending, and reachingDexterity and flexibility to weld inside or underneath equipment at awkward anglesAbility to climb stairs and laddersAbility to wear required PPE including safety glasses, gloves, and work bootsIncentivesWe are a growing company with a lot of opportunity and a great culture.
