Project Manager

Job Title: Project ManagerReporting Structure: This position reports to the Director of Field OperationsJob SummaryThis position is responsible for leadership-directed product and services analysis, design and implementation, which is based on the company’s current and future business needs. The incumbent must ensure forward-thinking analysis and planning for stream-lined, seamless project designs, which are feasible, exacting and accurate to the client’s and leadership’s specifications. The incumbent must be multi-disciplined in all areas of technology. In collaboration with leadership, the position is accountable for project development, designing, planning and implementation as directed. The incumbent works under the direction of leadership and with peers to meet and exceed the excellent, end-to-end service to clients on a timely, accurate and professional basis.Responsibilities, Duties & AccountabilitiesThe core, critical and essential work duties, functions, and responsibilities of the position are as follows: Meets and works with clients to ascertain business needs, developing and designing solutions for them in coordination with Technical and Sales leadership; Analyzes and prepares design plan proposals for the installation of technical hardware, cameras or other technical features in commercial and industrial environments; Collaborates with the team, client and other vendors to understand the project needs and make appropriate determinations of detailed configurations; Through internal collaboration and client consultations, maintains identified specifications, timetables, and budgets; coordinating with the Director of Operations to ensure an endtoend, organized and prioritized project; As directed, is responsible for the facilitation of network and project designs, revisions, implementation and refinement; coordinating with leadership and the team to ensure budgets, schedules, and scope of work remains intact; Under the direction of leadership, establishes the plans for proposed networking, systems, and installations indicating placements and layout of hardware and devices, including but not limited to cameras, cables, hubs, routers and other equipment; Collaborates with the Director of Operations to understand environmental issues, ensuring workarounds regarding conflicting activities or other constraining events which delay proposed work schedules; Collaborates with the team to provide support to the endcustomer through the entirety of the project; ensures communications are received and acted upon appropriately and timely for the success of the project; Oversees project implementations to ensure deliverability, manage resources, and provide a consistent customer experience; Conducts enduser workshops and/or training as directed; Develops training materials, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and troubleshooting documentation; Participates in user testing and upgrade processes to ensure that implementations rollouts and critical business objectives are met; Provides frequent project updates to the Director of Operations; properly documents all necessary requirements in designated project management software; Champions and sets an example for high standards of work, following company policies and procedures, and training team members as needed; Handles client concerns with utmost care and professionalism, bringing issues to a timely and satisfactory resolution, preparing timely, updated status reports on the results for leadership; Responsible for the final, accurate and highquality work results of the project, ensuring the client’s satisfaction; Responsible for compiling records and routinely submitting summarized reports to leadership; Supports the team in coordinating with subcontractors, installations and scheduling; Maintains professional working relationships with staff members, peers, leadership, clients and the general public; Other projects and duties as assigned;Travel Requirements if Applicable: 100% travelPosition Requirements and Qualifications: Bachelors’ degree in a related field, which may include Computer Science, Business, or Engineering; Multidisciplined and broadbased experience working with technology, with a minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated, successful experience in network programming, capabilities and/or implementation or related field experience; Demonstrates strong knowledge of technology (trends and the development of new technology) infrastructure design; Demonstrates Cloud work experience (including servers, storage, databases, networking software {e.g. Microsoft Azure, Saas, File Sharing/Data Sharing, Carbonite, etc.}); Demonstrates experience with SQL, such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, Sybase, Access, etc. ; Valid, Current Driver’s License (No more than Four (4) Points on current State Driving Record); PMP, PgMP, CAPM, and/or comparable project management certifications; Demonstrates excellent knowledge in use of diagnostic tools; Demonstrates critical thinking skills and network troubleshooting skills; Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software; Zoho, Lucid, System Surveyor, or similar programs; Is experienced working with customers in a Customer Relations Management capacity, ascertaining, planning and resolving customer’s needs; Demonstrates excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines; successfully multitask, using strong organizational skills, and excellent analytical and problemsolving skills; Demonstrates ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate to staff members as appropriate; Possesses the skills and ability to learn and adapt quickly regarding projects or products being developed; Demonstrates professional demeanor, satisfactory verbal and written communication skills; Ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion in dealing with sensitive information; exercises good judgment; is conscientious and dependable; Must maintain ability and availability to be local to the central business office; Ability to maintain a regular and routine attendance and be punctual for work; Ability to be available and willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays;Physical RequirementsThe following physical demands are requirements and must be fulfilled to successfully perform the job.This position requires the incumbent to: Stand for long periods of time, walk frequently and use full reach and range of motion in arms, hands and fingers, with continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bimanual dexterity and fine motor skills; to bend, stoop, kneel and lift (floor to waist up to 50 lbs., waist to shoulders up to 20lbs.), carry, push, pull and frequently climb stairs.
