Graphic Designer (Oswego, NY)Local News Inc. is a fast-paced publishing company based in Oswego, producing several regional publications, including Oswego County Business, 55 PLUS, and In Good Health. We are seeking an experienced Graphic Designer to support the design and production of newspapers, magazines, and advertisements.ResponsibilitiesDesign and layout newspapers and magazines using editor-prepared dummiesCreate print advertisements in collaboration with sales staffPrepare files for print and coordinate with printing companiesQualificationsStrong proficiency in Adobe InDesign and PhotoshopPrior professional design experience required (no students)Ability to work independently and meet deadlinesPosition DetailsFull-time — about 35 hours a week, half FridaysPreferred hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (some flexibility, including occasional evenings or weekends)On-site position; remote work not availableCandidates should reside within 15–20 miles of OswegoCompensationStarting pay ranges from $22.50 per hour, depending on role and experience, with potential bonusesView our publications at cnyhealth.com, cny55.com, and oswegocountybusiness.com.
