Installer/Technician Entry level

We are seeking an Installation Technician to become a part of our team! You will assist with the installation of indoor & outdoor signage. We are an Equal Opportunity EmployerResponsibilities: Installation and repair of outdoor signageMaintain a safe and clean work environmentPerform routine preventative maintenanceTrack all equipment and suppliesProblem solving skills and ability to think outside of the box.Ability to climb ladders, work out of a bucket truck and be comfortable with heights.Regular standing, walking, bending, kneeling and lifting (up to 75 lbs.)Must be able to read work orders and follow instruction.Attention to detail.Good communication skills – both oral and written.Perform other duties as assignedQualifications: Previous experience in construction, electrical work, welding or other related fields helpfulKnowledge of basic manual and power hand tools such as wire cutters, wrenches, corded and cordless drills, tape measureAbility to handle physical workload and heightsClear Driving record a must.Ability to prioritize and multitaskTeam player able to problem solve, read and follow instructions, be productive and have good communication skillsAble to pass a DOT physicalAbility to communicate directly with clients to resolve any on-site issuesAbility to critically think and problem solveBenefits: 100% Employer paid Health InsurancePaid sick daysPaid VacationUniformsFull Time Position – Monday to Friday 7am – 3:30pmResponsibilities: Install, repair & troubleshoot lighted signs and their components.Fabricate and assemble various types of lighted & non-illuminated signInstall sign foundations involving support steel & concreteFollow specific instructions & installation requirements per clientBe able to figure material needs for sign repairs & new installationsOperate and drive a bucket truck, scissor lift, climb laddersOperate a vast array of power toolsAssemble signs from various materialsOccasionally help install vinyl graphics to substrates.Qualifications: Entry level to be trained.Ability to handle the physical workloadAbility to perform work while elevated in bucket truck or ladderAbility to communicate directly with clients to resolve any on-site issuesAbility to critically think and problem solveJob Type: Full-timePay: $18.00 to 20.00 per hourBenefits After Probation Period: 100% Employer Paid Health insurancePaid VacationPaid Sick DaysUniformsSchedule: Monday to Friday, 7am-3:30pm, overtime as needed.Powered by JazzHR
