Senior Project ManagerWe are seeking an experienced Airport IT Liaison to serve as the bridge between airport technology projects, airport operations, stakeholders, and contractors. This role is responsible for ensuring effective communication, coordination, and execution of technology initiatives while minimizing operational impacts within a fast-paced airport environment.The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of airport operations, airport technology systems, infrastructure, and stakeholder management, with the ability to translate operational requirements into technology-driven solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary liaison between Airport IT project teams, Airport Operations, contractors, airlines, and key stakeholders.Facilitate communication and alignment across multiple departments and project teams.Coordinate IT project activities across multiple terminals and operational areas.Monitor project status, milestones, risks, and dependencies, providing timely updates to stakeholders.Identify potential operational impacts and support mitigation efforts throughout project implementation.Coordinate contractor activities to ensure compliance with operational requirements and project schedules.Participate in project meetings, site walks, operational briefings, and stakeholder coordination sessions.Track project deliverables, action items, and implementation progress.Support the integration of airport equipment and operational systems with IT infrastructure.Identify risks, gaps, and coordination challenges and escalate issues when necessary.Build and maintain strong working relationships with airlines, airport departments, contractors, and operational stakeholders.Desired Experience15+ years of professional experience, preferably supporting airport operations, airport infrastructure, or airport technology projects.Experience working in large hub airport environments.Strong understanding of airport operational systems and terminal operations.Experience managing contractors and coordinating cross-functional project teams.Proven ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Experience supporting airport technology, infrastructure, or operational improvement projects.Familiarity with airline operations, terminal management, airport infrastructure, or capital improvement programs.Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.Preferred Technical KnowledgeExperience with:Airport operational technology systemsSITA systemsAirport IT infrastructureFIDS (Flight Information Display Systems)AODB (Airport Operational Database)Baggage Handling Systems (BHS)Self-service kiosks and gate systemsPMWebSharePointBluebeamAdobe Acrobat ProMicrosoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Education & CertificationsBachelor's degree in Aviation, Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Planning, Architecture, Information Technology, or a related field.Professional certifications such as PMP, AAAE, PE, LEED, AICP, or similar are highly desirable.Why Join Us?This is an opportunity to support complex airport technology and infrastructure initiatives while collaborating with airport operators, airlines, contractors, and technology teams to improve operational efficiency and passenger experience at one of the nation's busiest aviation environments.
