A healthcare organization is seeking a Gastroenterology Hospitalist for an ongoing locums assignment offering a flexible schedule, low call volume, and strong support.Position Highlights:Ongoing assignment (up to 12 months)24-hour call schedule (Friday 5:00 PM Friday 5:00 PM)14 consecutive days per assignment ( 2 weeks/month)Low overnight call volumeStrong APP and Hospitalist supportTravel and lodging providedPractice Setting:Hospital-based GI LabInpatient and outpatient proceduresClinical Responsibilities:ColonoscopyEGD with bandingEUSERCP (preferred, not required)Rounding with APP supportVolume & Support:procedures per day2 APPs providing nightly supportAdmissions handled by Hospitalist teamOn-site anesthesia availableEMR:Cerner transitioning to EpicRequirements:Board Certified or Board Eligible in GastroenterologyActive Arkansas medical licenseDEA requiredClean malpractice history preferredAdditional Information:Credentialing timeframe: daysIf you are interested, please submit your CV and availability for consideration.
