Program Manager IIBAE Systems is hiring a Program Manager II to support the Artillery group and lead a portion of the M109A7/M992A3 Paladin FMS program. As a Program Manager for Paladin FMS, you are directly responsible for profit and loss for an element of the complex program involving the support through sustainment of M109A7 and M992A3. Provide a competitive advantage to the company by managing the program's defined scope on schedule, within budget, and at the expected level of quality.The role can be based out of York, PA or Anniston, AL. This is a hybrid position where you will work three days onsite weekly, on average. The schedule is 9/80 where you will have every other Friday off. There is a travel requirement of 25%, including one international trip annually, on average.Responsibilities:Lead proposals in support of future artillery effortsDevelop proposals and program plans that address the lifecycle of products from capture through execution and transition of technology to production, and post-production supportServe as the primary point of contact for all functionsManage stakeholder communications with cross-functional teams, customers, and BAE Systems management on programmatic issuesManage the defined scope on schedule, within budget, and at the expected level of qualityManage program execution to predictably achieve cost/profitability, schedule, and technical performance objectivesMeet financial commitments for orders, sales, profit, and cash flowPrepare and present program management reviews (PMRs) with information tailored to the appropriate levelEstablish program direction for the matrixed teamMonitor and control activities on current contracts including disciplined, effective change managementImplement appropriate actions to resolve issues, manage risks, and realize opportunitiesPrimary point of contact for providing clear, accurate, and timely communication to customersRequired Education, Experience, & SkillsAbility to obtain and maintain a Secret ClearanceBachelor's Degree and 10 years of work experience or equivalent experienceExperience in Program/Project ManagementExperience in Defense programsExperience in Manufacturing/Production programsExperience in PLM, including ability to support Engineering, Testing, Transition to Production, System Technical Support, SustainmentExperience in Earned Value Management (EVM)Experience in People Management/LeadershipExperience in Customer Interfacing and Relationship ManagementAbility to manage, coordinate, plan, organize, control, integrate, and execute programs/projectsAbility to lead Risk and Opportunity (R&O) management activities to include identification and development of risk mitigation plans, scope management, program/project plans specifying goals, staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of available resourcesAbility to lead, manage, and influence stakeholdersAbility to foster an inclusive workplace in which all individuals thrive and perform at their bestDemonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to work across functional boundaries and mature PM capabilitiesStrong business acumen enabling achievement of financial, schedule, technical, and new business performance objectivesAnalytical thought and skills with the ability to resolve issues in a variety of complex situations, without supervisionExcellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate with senior level leaders, customers, and suppliersPreferred Education, Experience, & SkillsActive Secret ClearanceMBA or Master's DegreePMP or Professional CertificationExperience in leading complex programs for tracked combat vehiclesExperience in International/FMS/DCS programsKnowledge of ITAR and Export ControlsBroad knowledge of Engineering, Finance, Logistics, and General ManagementUnderstanding of requirements development processPay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $136000 - $231200 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
