Also involves some job-related travel (less than 10% of time); exposure to risk of injury from moving, lifting, or positioning patients, equipment, or materials; and exposure to hazardous chemicals and fumes including waste, burns, cuts/punctures, blood-borne or airborne pathogens, recombinant DNA or viral vectors, and combative/violent people.ShiftMonday through Friday 8am-5pmJob SummaryThe position of Physical therapist will provide direct patient care and will assist the Supervisor and Senior Leaders in program development while adhering to the policies and procedures of the University of Kentucky HealthCare Enterprise and in accordance with state and federal regulations. Will perform physical therapy evaluations and render physical therapy treatments following a physician’s order. Will treat patients with a variety of diagnoses. Will perform appropriate documentation in the medical record.Skills / Knowledge / AbilitiesAPTA board certification in Orthopedics or Sports and dry needling certification preferred.Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?
