This role will play a key part in driving structured case progression, client communication, and pre-suit negotiations.The OpportunityThe ideal candidate understands that success in pre-litigation is driven by timely case movement, effective client communication, and strategic negotiation—not just legal knowledge. This position focuses on early case development, evaluation, and efficiently advancing matters toward resolution prior to litigation.The attorney will collaborate closely with pre-litigation paralegals and cross-functional teams to ensure each case is positioned for the best possible outcome.What You Will OwnCase Evaluation & StrategyReview newly retained cases and develop early case strategyEvaluate liability, insurance coverage, and damages to determine viabilityIdentify gaps early and provide direction on next stepsDemand & NegotiationWork with assigned paralegals to review and approve demand packagesNegotiate with insurance adjusters to maximize case valueProvide direction on settlement strategy and authorityClient CommunicationCommunicate with clients regarding expectations and settlement discussionsHandle complex or sensitive client issues as neededMaintain a high level of client experience throughout the case lifecycleCollaboration & Team LeadershipPartner with paralegals to manage workflow and case progressionProvide guidance and accountability to support staffProcess & System UtilizationUse the case management system as the single source of truth for case activityEnsure accurate documentation, statuses, and notesFollow standard operating procedures and support process improvementsQualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law schoolLicensed and in good standing in Tennessee, Arkansas, Mississippi, or Missouri1–5 years of personal injury experience preferred (pre-litigation strongly preferred)Strong understanding of liability analysis, insurance coverage, and damages evaluationExperience negotiating with insurance adjusters is a plusWhat We’re Looking ForA proactive attorney who keeps cases movingStrong communicator who is responsive to clients and team membersComfortable making decisions and providing directionDetail-oriented with the ability to manage a high-volume caseloadTeam-oriented with a focus on accountability and collaborationComfortable working in a structured, process-driven environmentWhy JoinEstablished and growing firm with a strong reputationClear processes and operational support designed for efficiencyCollaborative team environment with defined roles and expectationsOpportunity to develop negotiation and case strategy skills
