Our innovative approach to design, engineering, and manufacturing supports a wide range of industries, including: Electrical, Lighting & Utility, Building Materials and Renewable Energy & EV Charging.About the Role:The Quality Assurance & Control Associate plays a critical role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance within the organization. This position is responsible for implementing and maintaining quality control processes, conducting thorough inspections, and identifying areas for improvement to enhance overall product quality and customer satisfaction. The associate collaborates closely with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, and supply chain to monitor quality metrics and resolve any deviations from established standards. By analyzing data and performing root cause analysis, the role supports continuous improvement initiatives that drive operational excellence. Ultimately, the Quality Assurance & Control Associate helps safeguard the company’s reputation by ensuring that all outputs consistently meet regulatory requirements and internal quality benchmarks.Minimum Qualifications:At least 2 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control within a manufacturing or production environment.Strong understanding of quality management systems (QMS)Proficiency in using quality tools such as root cause analysis, statistical process control (SPC), and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA).Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.Preferred Qualifications:Precast concrete manufacturing experience preferred but not requiredCertification such as ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA).Experience with ISO 9001 or other relevant quality standards implementation and audits.Familiarity with quality management software and data analysis tools.Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and continuous improvement techniques.Hands on mechanical or construction skillsResponsibilities:Conduct routine and detailed inspections of products and materials to verify compliance with quality standards and specifications.Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and documentation to support regulatory compliance and internal policies.Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.Monitor quality metrics and generate reports to track performance trends and highlight areas requiring improvement.Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring all quality assurance processes are followed and documented accurately.Assist in training staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices to promote a culture of quality throughout the organization.Support continuous improvement projects by providing data-driven insights and quality expertise.Skills:The required and preferred skills are applied daily to ensure that quality standards are consistently met and improved upon. Analytical skills enable the associate to interpret inspection data and identify trends or deviations that could impact product quality. Proficiency with quality management systems and tools supports the development and enforcement of effective quality control procedures. Communication skills are essential for collaborating with cross-functional teams and training staff on quality practices. Additionally, knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies helps the associate drive compliance and operational excellence throughout the production life cycle.
