Gen AI Project Manager
Role: Gen AI Project ManagerLocation: Boston, MAJob Type: Hybrid / 3 Days OnsiteRole OverviewThe AI Project / Program Manager will own end-to-end delivery and governance of a portfolio of AI initiatives, with a strong focus on enterprise AI platforms and AI productization. This role requires a rare blend of hands-on AI knowledge, product thinking, and strong program management, operating in highly regulated environments. The individual will work closely with senior leadership, engineering, data science, risk, compliance, and business stakeholders to ensure scalable, compliant, and value-driven AI outcomes.Core ExperienceMust-Have Skills & Experience10+ years of experience in Project / Program Management, with 3 4 years leading AI & Data-driven initiatives Proven experience delivering enterprise AI platforms or AI products, not just isolated models or POCs Strong exposure to regulated industries (within BFSI domain Capital Markets domain experience with focus on Asset Servicing / Custodian business would be a distinct advantage) Experience managing end-to-end lifecycle of Gen AI projects from ideation to production deployment & scaling Native AI & GenAI ProficiencySolid understanding of: Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Generative AILLMs Embeddings RAG Agents / Agentic AI Frameworks like LangGraph, LangChain MLOps / LLMOpsModel lifecycle CI/CD for ML AI monitoring and drift management Data FoundationsData pipelines Feature stores Data quality Data governance Platform & Architecture Awareness Experience with cloud-based AI stacks (Azure preferred, AWS, Google) Familiarity with AI platform componentsModel registries Orchestration APIs Security Access controls Understanding of enterprise integration patterns and scalability concerns Governance & Responsible AIStrong grasp of AI ethics, model risk management, explainability, and compliance requirements Experience operationalizing Responsible AI frameworks in production environments Leadership & Behavioural CompetenciesExecutive-ready communication and stakeholder influence Strong systems thinking and ability to manage ambiguity Bias toward outcomes, value realization, and business impact Comfortable operating between strategy and execution
