Job Summary This position involves networking and outreach to businesses in the community and creating relationships. Will interact with referring agency case management staff and supervise and schedule job coaching and direct support staff members. The Employment Specialist helps clients explore the community, businesses, and the jobs that businesses have that are in the area. Will provide services to those businesses to help them to obtain qualified employees. Also provides direct support to people living or working in their community. Required Required Be nice. Have a good attitude. Time Management Skills. Communication skills, both verbal and written. Experience in a supervisory/managerial role. Possess and maintain a valid Oregon driver’s license, and insured vehicle that meets minimum State of Oregon insurance requirements. Able to pass a Background Check that meets State of Oregon requirements. Able to pass a Background Check that meets federal requirements. Ability to use cloud-based software programs. Knowledgeable on Microsoft Office programs. Preference Prefer one year of experience delivering employment services to people with disabilities or direct care services either in classroom, community living supports, day care, medical, or residential settings. Prefer 5 years of driving experience in congested areas. Current CPR/1st Aid Certification or willing to obtain within 30 days. Core Competency & Training Certifications Direct Support/Employment Professionals or obtain within 30 days of hire. Job Type: Part to full-time Flexible schedule, work from home and in the community.
