Entry-Level Wood CNC Operator
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Wood CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate computer-controlled woodworking machinery to produce high-quality wood components and furniture. You will be responsible for setting up, programming, and maintaining CNC machines to ensure efficient production while adhering to safety standards and quality specifications.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC woodworking machines, following detailed technical drawings.
Program CNC equipment using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software to create precise machining instructions.
Interpret technical specifications to ensure accurate fabrication of wood parts.
Conduct routine machine maintenance, troubleshoot industrial equipment issues, and perform adjustments to optimize performance.
Measure finished components using measuring instruments such as calipers, tape measure, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensional accuracy.
Follow safety standards in production areas, including proper use of hand tools, safety gear, and machine guarding protocols.
Assist with materials handling, fabrication, packaging, and assembly line tasks as needed to support production flow.
Requirements
Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Familiarity with CNC programming, CAM programming, V Carve Pro, or SolidWorks is a plus.
Mechanical knowledge related to tooling, materials handling, and fabrication processes.
Strong attention to detail with excellent measurement skills using calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments.
Good math skills for calculating measurements and machine settings; basic understanding of safety standards in production environments.
Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues efficiently and work well within a team on assembly line tasks.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
