Sr. Business Intelligence Solutions ManagerLocation: Remote/USDuration: FulltimeJob Description:Summary: Were looking for a talented, energetic leader/doer who has strong data visualization, reporting, and data pipeline development skills, and the business understanding needed to work effectively with all departments across the organization. You will work with management to define needs and set priorities, manage the flow of work within the BI team, design and develop datamarts/cubes, ETL processes, and reports, and coach and support your teammates.Responsibilities:Collaborate with all levels of stakeholders and SMEs to gather and analyze project requirementsAllocate workload across the BI team and monitor the report queue to ensure team members are responding to requests in a timely mannerBe the primary point of contact for all BI and data warehouse related requestsCreate and maintain ETL packages, Stored Procedures, Functions, Cursors, Views, and tables all used to streamline reporting needsDesign, build and maintain standard and custom reports using various reporting applications/platformsBuild and maintain meaningful Business Intelligence dashboards for Executives and various departments within the organizationDesign and deploy dtsx packages in Visual StudioSimplify or optimize the data transaction performance by altering SQL scripts wherever possibleTroubleshoot reports and dashboard related issues and provide root cause analysisWork with responsible support team(s) to fix any issues related to database performance, network connectivity and provide corrective measuresLook for opportunities to streamline the process and create/maintain technical documentationHost recurring meetings for report users across the organization, including training sessions and product release communicationsSkills & Qualifications:8+ years in SQL utilizing PL/SQL Developer, Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, pgAdmin, and Visual StudioExperience using BI technologies such as Microsoft PowerBI, SSIS, Sisense, SAP BusinessObjects BI applications (Webi and Crystal Reports) and SAP BusinessObjects Universe (Ad hoc reporting)Strong analytical and troubleshooting skillsStrong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders/teammatesSelf-motivated and able to work in a team environmentAble to work on multiple projects concurrently and often under tight deadlinesPreferred Skills:Experience with AWS cloud data warehouse technologies including Redshift, S3, DMS, GlueExperience with migrating data warehouse to AWSFamiliarity with data structures of various enterprise applications such as ServiceNow, Salesforce, NetsuiteEducation:BS in Computer Science, Engineering or BA with equivalent technical experience.
