Construction Equipment Operator

Job Description Description:Position SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Construction Equipment Operator to safely and efficiently operate a variety of heavy construction machinery. This role is essential in supporting site preparation, excavation, grading, material movement, and other construction-related tasks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with multiple types of equipment, strong safety awareness, and the ability to work effectively in a team-driven environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate heavy construction equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, backhoes, graders, and forklifts.Perform excavation, trenching, grading, demolition, and material handling as directed.Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure safe and proper operation.Follow safety regulations, site plans, and supervisor instructions at all times.Assist with loading/unloading materials and equipment when necessary.Identify and report equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or repair needs.Maintain accurate logs of work performed and equipment usage.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Minimum [X years] of experience operating construction equipment preferred.Valid driver's license and applicable heavy equipment operator certification (if required).Knowledge of construction safety procedures and OSHA regulations.Ability to read and interpret construction plans and site layouts.Strong physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.Team-oriented with strong communication skills.Work EnvironmentOutdoor construction sites with exposure to noise, dust, and weather conditions.Requires use of personal protective equipment (PPE).May involve overtime, weekends, or extended hours based on project deadlines.Requirements:
