You'll work primarily in C# and Vue within an Azure and SQL Server environment. You’ll partner closely with product, design, and other engineers to ship features that directly impact how organizations connect with their donors and advance their missions.Virtuous CRM+ is built on the latest version of .NET and Vue, and we are actively building AI-first features on the leading edge of SaaS software.This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who is AI-Forward and thinks like a Product Engineer. You won't just implement stories; you’ll understand the "why" behind the work and actively collaborate with the team to deliver innovation and customer value. You’ll be expected to actively influence product direction and operate with high agency and ownership within your squad.Virtuous is a high-growth SaaS company with a 30-person EPD team. Everyone is willing to make the coffee!Celebrating the wins & milestones of othersAssuming good intent & demonstrating trust in othersPursuing relationships with people different from themselves & creates space to be humanResponsibilitiesBuild, and maintain features across our CRM+ platform using C#, .NET, and SQL ServerArchitect and operate services on Azure, with an eye toward scalability, reliability, and costPartner with Product and Design to shape requirements - not just receive them - bringing a customer-first perspective to technical tradeoffsUse AI tools, especially Claude Code, as a core part of your daily workflow: for prototyping, code generation, testing, debugging, documentation, and accelerating deliveryWrite clean, well-tested, maintainable code and unit tests - and participate actively in the code review processMentor and pair program other engineers and help raise the bar for engineering practices across the teamInfluence best practice patterns for QA, CICD, and product architectureTroubleshoot and resolve production issues with a sense of urgency and ownershipContribute to technical strategy and help evolve our architecture as the platform scalesYou Must Have5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with deep expertise in C#/.NET3+ years of experience with Vue; React or Angular experience transfers wellStrong experience building and operating production systems on AzureSolid experience with SQL Server - schema design, query optimization, and performance tuningGenuine enthusiasm for AI-assisted development. Hands-on experience using Claude Code as part of your engineering workflowA customer-first, product-minded approach to engineering.
