Principal Signals Software Engineer
Salary: $107,500 - 204,500 per year
Requirements:
Active and transferable TS/SCI with Polygraph U.S. government issued security clearance needed prior to start date, with adjudication occurring less than three years ago.U.S. citizenship is essential as only U.S. citizens qualify for a security clearance.Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) along with at least eight (8) years of relevant experience.Experience in a Signals Software Engineering role or equivalent, particularly focused on Radio Frequency (RF) including expertise with Fourier transforms and digital signal processing.Familiarity with signals analysis tools such as Wigner-Ville transform (WVT) and digital signal processing techniques.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and modify software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to assess and predict outcomes.Collaborate with the engineering team to merge signal processing software with satellite ground systems.Create and implement algorithms for signal processing tasks, including Fourier transforms and RF signal processing.Analyze and enhance signal processing algorithms for better efficiency.Identify and resolve issues pertaining to signal processing software.Lead one or more software development teams, ensuring that projects are completed following the established software development processes.Adhere to predetermined software processes and procedures for development, documentation, and maintenance of operational concepts and requirements.
