IT Project Manager
Job purpose The IT Project Manager is a highly dynamic person who will be responsible for planning, coordinating and implementing projects involving technology products and platforms for The World’s Largest Furniture Store. They will determine the resources necessary to complete the project within the budget and timeline based on the scope of the project. The IT Project Manager will also monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders
Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Understand, document, and communicate customer requirements.
Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs
Confers with supervisors and representatives of departments concerned with computer programs to resolve questions of program intent, data input, output requirements, and inclusion of internal checks and controls.
Converts detailed logical flowchart to language processable by computer.
Conducts studies, analyzing and selecting appropriate systems involving all company operations. Anticipate the needs, risks, and challenges keeping the IT Director and Stakeholders aware of these risks and challenges.
Reviews all operational systems for their cost-effectiveness, compliance with standards, and flexibility to meet long-range plans.
Experience with basic ERP system modules including core financials, purchasing, sales order processing, inventory/WMS, and accounting.
Develops and maintains quality documentation for systems and programs.
Provides guidance and direction to data processing personnel in determining systems requirements and procedures and developing instruction manuals for the proper implementation of the system.
Meets computer systems objectives by studying data, evaluating options, and making recommendations.
Experience with MS Office, SharePoint, MS Project, and Jira boards.
Be the SME for Jira/Atlassian product for IT Project Management
Experience in playing the Scrum Master role for a software development / maintenance team.
Prepares reports as needed and requested by management concerning computing operations and activities.
Recommends, when necessary, consultants needed to conduct evaluations or perform other services needed for computing support and performance.
Demonstrated experience with vendor management on a large IT project/system implementation.
Continuous Improvement mindset.

Required Education and Experience
Associate degree in Computer Science or a related field
5-7 years’ experience in Project Management overseeing multiple small and large projects.
Development experience desired
Preferred Education and Experience
BS or BA degree in Computer Science with 2 years’ experience Project Management overseeing multiple projects.
PMP certification highly desired
Working conditions
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers and smartphones.
