Based in Orlando, FL, we strive to make a meaningful impact by addressing the diverse needs of the community we serve.Role DescriptionThis is an on-site contract role for a Child and Family Therapist located in Orlando, FL. The therapist will provide therapeutic services, including play therapy and other evidence-based modalities, to children and families. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, maintaining detailed client records, collaborating with families and other professionals, and monitoring progress towards therapeutic goals. The therapist will be a vital part of the interdisciplinary team, helping to provide a safe, supportive, and enriching environment for clients.QualificationsExperience with Play Therapy and demonstrated ability to utilize creative therapeutic techniquesBackground in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling with strong organizational and documentation skillsProficiency in working with children and families to address their mental health needsKnowledge of mental health practices and tools necessary to provide effective therapyMaster’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related fieldCurrent licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or equivalent in the state of FloridaOpen to Registered Interns based on experience (supervision included for Social Work or Mental Health interns)Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to ethical and client-centered careExperience with trauma-informed care and cultural sensitivity is a plus
