Mechanical Assembly Tech OpportunityWe are seeking a Mechanical Assembly Tech for an established company in the Alachua, FL area who will perform in a heavy production environment, assembling large and heavy parts using hand tools, power tools, and other specialized equipment. Candidates with automotive or complex assembly experience are encouraged to apply.Schedule: Monday thru Friday, 6:30am to 3pmPayrate: $19-24/hr depending on experienceJob Duties of the Mechanical Assembly TechReview specifications to determine assembly and special options.Check bins for adequate suppliesEnsure connections for correct fit, parts, and sub-assemblies per specificationsFollow detailed instructions for assembly of industrial products.Maintain a clean and safe work environmentSkills and Qualifications of the Mechanical Assembly TechExperience and ability to read blueprints preferred.Must be able to lift 50 lbs.Must be able to work within a non-climate controlled environment.This is a Temp-to-Hire position and the client offers benefits once hired in.This is a drug-free workplace.
