If you join our team, they will.ResponsibilitiesThe Business Office Clerk Lead oversees the business office personnel in the areas of registration, insurance verification, and medical records in accordance with facility policies and procedures. Also, performs accounts payable duties and troubleshoots computer issues. Coordinates activities with other departments and participates maintaining qualified personnel. Ensures the protection of patient privacy. Cooperative work attitude toward co-employees, management, patients, visitors, and physicians; promoting a favorable facility image. Ability to make decisions and solve problems.Key Responsibilities:Responsible for Accounts Payable tasks ensuring timely and accurate processing of facility invoices, patient refunds and vendor credits.Ensures that business office duties are carried out efficiently and accuratelyResponsible for Admissions/Registration processesResponsible for Insurance Verification processesResponsible for Medical Records processes for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with federal and state rules and regulationsResponsible for business office reference materialsResponsible for financial recordsResponsible for all office supplies and business office equipmentResponsible for environmental control of areaQualificationsRequiredHigh school diploma or GED certificateTraining or courses in business office activitiesThree years of medical facility or medical business office experienceStrong ethical and moral character referencesStrong computer data entry skillsPreferredSupervisory experience, leadership skillsASC experienceStrong accounting background in a medically related environmentBasic knowledge of accounting proceduresStrong managed-care expertise with Medicare, Medicaid, and/or third-party payersGood oral and written communication skillsBasic knowledge of medical terminologyUSD $25.00/Hr.
