In this role, you will be responsible for product testing, validation/qualification, assembly, supply chain, inventory and quality management. Our ideal candidate will have at least one year of relevant experience in test engineering, operations or manufacturing.Test Engineer IYour Roles/Responsibilities:Define and maintain test procedures for Acutronic's Actuation & Acutronic Turbines product linesExecute testing and validation/qualification of products per the defined proceduresRecord and document data and results of all testing performedLead and define the testing schedule to support business needsCollaborate with applicable engineers to define acceptance criteria and limitsSupport the planning and implementation of an AS9100 quality management systemCreate and maintain appropriate documentation including, but not limited to: traceability materials/certifications, workflows, and quality recordsMonitor production controls and measures for existing and new productsDefine and maintain assembly processes for all product linesImprove and streamline existing assembly processesCreate processes related to RMAs, non-conformances, and calibration managementLead and/or participate in troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of quality events; support process owners in the planning and implementation of corrective measuresDevelop relevant procedures and instructions to support QC methods, changes or formalized decisionsDesign and implement sampling procedures and related instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality dataLead and/or support negotiations with customers concerning quality demand fulfillment(s); and/or resolution of quality deficiencies including preparing external customer documentationYour Profile/Qualifications/Skills:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field from an accredited college or university requiredMinimum one year of experience in test engineering, operations, or manufacturing requiredMinimum one year of experience in the assembly and testing of complex electro-mechanical assemblies in a production or prototype environment in the aerospace, defense, or engineering fields requiredPrior experience working in an aerospace quality control (AS9100) and manufacturing environment, preferredExperience with turbine engines preferredPrior experience with project management and documentation practices preferredProficient level of working mechanical/electrical knowledgeA combination of skills and experience may be consideredWe Offer:Employer-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance401k matchCompany-paid holidays and Paid-Leave Time9/80 scheduleAbout Acutronic:The Acutronic Group has a proud history of building technologies and teams that are crucial to the aerospace, defense, and transportation industries.Acutronic's Simulation & Test Division is the global market leader in high-performance motion simulation and test equipment.
