Senior Packaging Engineer (UFRS)

Position Title: Senior Packaging Development Engineer (UFRS) Location: Remote Job Type : Full time PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Support the development of packaging and ensures Bill of Materials & packaging instructions are accurate and correct and implements Engineering Changes Prepare project cost estimates, budgets, Returns On Investments (ROIs) Partner with Launch Managers, Facility Tooling, and Equipment Suppliers to develop and build assembly fixtures, assembly aids, or other molding tools Interfaces with suppliers as needed on processes, productivity, and product improvements. Running Line Trials Represent packaging in cross-functional team meetings Provide technical support to production lines Develop and update preventative maintenance of molds and machines while working in conjunction with mold, and machine suppliers Ability to work remotely. Travel can be approximately 30% of the time. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must have a AS/BS/MS in Packaging or related science field and 10 plus years of experience in either or all of flexible packaging for food and consumer goods. Advanced technical knowledge of: VFFS machines is highly desired. Engineer must be able to support and/or manage multiple projects simultaneously, in a fast-paced environment.
