Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Maintenance Technician II to join our dynamic manufacturing facility team. Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, HVAC systems, and electrical components, to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills.
Operate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to identify faults accurately.
Conduct repairs involving welding (including welding), high voltage systems, low voltage circuits, and industrial electrician tasks.
Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment history.
Assist with field service activities by diagnosing issues on-site at various manufacturing stations or customer locations when needed.
Support the installation of new machinery or upgrades by interpreting schematics and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols related to high voltage, HVAC/R systems, and industrial mechanics.
Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance procedures and contribute to ongoing training initiatives.
Skills
Extensive experience working within a manufacturing facility environment with a focus on industrial maintenance.
Proficiency in troubleshooting programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and understanding control systems schematics.
Strong electrical experience including working with high voltage and low voltage systems; familiarity with industrial electrician practices is essential.
Knowledge of HVAC/R systems along with HVAC certification or experience in HVAC/R maintenance.
Skilled in welding techniques, including welding for structural repairs or fabrication tasks.
Ability to operate scissor lifts safely for elevated maintenance tasks; certification is preferred.
Experience using precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools for analysis purposes.
Excellent customer service skills when interacting with internal teams or external clients during field service activities.
Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by industrial mechanic experience; ability to read schematics effectively is vital.
Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance tracking and reporting purposes.
Effective communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork coordination.
Background in military or disciplined environments that emphasize safety protocols and operational excellence is advantageous.
