This role is a hybrid position requiring hands-on warehouse work combined with CDL-regulated driving responsibilities, including flatbed and material handling deliveries. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-mix material environment.Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Operations (25%)Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials, ensuring accuracy against packing slips and purchase ordersOrganize inventory to maintain clear, safe, and efficient warehouse flowPick, stage, and prepare orders for shipment according to job requirementsSafely load and unload materials using forklifts and other material-handling equipmentPerform shipping and receiving functions, including packing, labeling, and documentationMaintain inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts and physical inventoriesFollow established warehouse procedures, checklists, and red-tag processes to prevent shipping errorsDriving & Delivery Responsibilities (CDL) (75%)Safely operate CDL-required vehicles, including flatbed trucks, in compliance with DOT regulationsTransport materials to customer locations in a timely and professional mannerSecure loads properly using straps, chains, and edge protection as requiredPerform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues promptlyVerify delivery documentation, obtain customer signatures, and document discrepancies or damageRepresent Centrex Technical Sales professionally at customer sitesSafety & ComplianceComply with all DOT, CDL, and company safety requirementsOperate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely and according to trainingMaintain a clean and safe work environmentFollow all PPE requirements and safety proceduresRequiredQualifications & RequirementsCDL driving experience, current CDL license not requiredClean driving record in accordance with company and insurance requirementsAbility to operate manual transmission vehiclesExperience driving flatbed trucksAbility to safely lift, move, and handle 50 plus lbs of industrial materialsStrong attention to detail and commitment to safetyPreferredPrevious experience in warehouse operations, shipping, and receivingForklift certification (or ability to obtain certification)Familiarity with freight handling, load securement, and industrial materialsExperience supporting pharmaceutical, food, or chemical industry customersPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbsAbility to stand, walk, bend, and climb in a warehouse environmentAbility to safely operate forklifts and delivery vehiclesAdditional InformationJob Type: Full-timeWork Location: In personBenefits: Eligible for benefits after 90 days of employment#flowcontrolgroup#manycompaniesoneteam#FCG-m#fcgcareersCentrex Technical Sales operates as a vital subsidiary within Flow Control Group (FCG), a prominent holdings company that is a leading solutions provider focused on technically oriented products and services for flow control, fluid handling and process, industrial automation, and life sciences with locations throughout North America.
