You will play a crucial role in the lifecycle of engineering systems to include conception, design, development and operation through decommissioning. WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED Bring your technology expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Systems Engineer must have: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university Experience: 1+ year of related experience Security clearance level: TS/SCI with poly US citizenship required Role requirements: Contributes to completion of milestones associated with specific engineering projects Develops solutions to a variety of engineering problems of moderate scope and complexity Perform systems design, development, and integration from the start of a systems life cycle to the end Oversees moderately complex infrastructure including installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools Performs systems modeling, simulation, and analysis Performs continual maintenance of security, including backup and redundancy strategies Prepares and maintains documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects GDIT IS YOUR PLACE At GDIT, the mission is our purpose, and our people are at the center of everything we do. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
