Location: Washington, DCSchedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMPay Rate: $18-$22/hour (DOE)A busy and mission-driven mental health clinic in Washington, DC is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented professional to provide temporary Mailroom and Administrative Operations support. This essential role supports the clinic's day-to-day operations by ensuring timely mail processing, responsive service ticket management, and efficient administrative assistance.The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment, while maintaining strict adherence to procedures and confidentiality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate all incoming and outgoing mail, including shipping, receiving, and inventory of suppliesOperate and maintain postage machines and mailroom equipmentMonitor, respond to, and resolve internal service tickets using OfficeSpace or a similar work-order systemProvide administrative support for Facilities Operations projects and service requestsDraft, respond to, and manage professional emails and internal communicationsSend and receive documents via electronic fax systemsAnswer and appropriately route calls using the Smartcare phone system (training provided)Follow established clinic protocols, procedures, and compliance standardsRequired QualificationsProficiency in Microsoft Outlook (email, scheduling, and inbox management)Prior mailroom experience, including shipping/receiving and supply trackingExperience with OfficeSpace or comparable ticketing/work-order platformsStrong written communication skills and professional email etiquetteFamiliarity with digital fax systemsHighly organized, reliable, and detail-orientedWillingness and ability to learn clinic-specific systems, including SmartcareAdaptable and responsive to changing prioritiesAdditional RequirementsExcellent attendance and punctuality are imperativeAbility to work onsite Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PMThis temporary position offers a valuable opportunity to support a high-impact team dedicated to delivering essential community mental health servicesSN
