Daily tasks include using hand tools, tape measures, performing decimal and metric conversions, and operating overhead cranes and forklifts.ROLE + RESPONSIBILITIES (includes but not limited to)Operate press brake machinery to bend and form metal componentsWork in a fast-paced environment while following instructions and maintaining self-motivationPerform accurate measurements using tape measures, calipers, and other toolsRead and interpret blueprints, including calculating bend allowancesWork independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with team membersVerify materials before use and report issues promptlyRoutinely lift 40–50 lbs; occasionally up to 90 lbsStand for extended periods (up to 10 hours)QualificationsEducation: high school diploma or equivalent (GED); technical degree preferred.Experience: minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.Proficiency in reading blueprints and using measuring tools.Willingness to support other departments as needed.Leadership ResponsibilitiesThis position does not have leadership responsibilities.Travel RequirementsThis position does not require travel.Preferred SkillsStrong math, geometry, and time management skillsAttention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to maintain consistent work outputExperience with cross-training and flexibility in job functionsStrong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilitiesFamiliarity with forklifts and hand toolsCapable of interpreting verbal and written instructionsAt Robinson, we value professionalism, expertise, and a dedication to craftsmanship.
